Wu Hua’s first instinct was to check the winning numbers to see if they matched the digits he remembered; he needed to confirm whether that jackpot had already been hit. He scrutinized the latest winning numbers and discovered that there were only six, not the seven he had expected. Confused, he quickly turned to the lottery rules.
