Shen Ye found a makeshift place to stay in the village. The walls were mottled, and the floor was uneven. Although the conditions were dire, Su Li didn’t mind. Her mind was occupied with the thought of "what should I do?" and the anxiety that had been surging over the past few days returned like a tidal wave, overwhelming her. She tossed and turned on the bed. The sheets were ones Shen Ye had taken from his bag to spread out; they carried a faint, familiar scent that brought her a sliver of peace in this strange environment. Su Li sighed softly, trying to calm herself. She closed her eyes and focused on her breathing, attempting to push aside the chaotic thoughts. However, the harder she tried to be calm, the more intense her anxiety became. She opened her eyes helplessly and stared at the dark ceiling. She didn't know how much time had passed, but exhausted from the day, her eyelids grew heavy, and she slowly drifted into a dream.
