After saying goodbye to Luna, Hector planned to head to the office of the Head of Ravenclaw, also located on the eighth floor. On the first day of term, it was only proper to go and pay his respects to the esteemed Professor Flitwick. Having not seen him for the entire summer holiday, Hector was somewhat eager to reunite with his dueling mentor—and if he happened to snag a casual meal there in the process, that would be all the better. Of course, Hector was not going to Professor Flitwick's for dinner empty-handed. In return, he had specially selected the most exquisite-looking jar from among those beautifully packaged and tightly sealed pumpkin juices. Hector had found that Nicolas Flamel's pumpkin juice was simply too popular; at the current rate of consumption, the reserve Mr. Flamel had given him might run out before next week. Professor Flitwick welcomed Hector very warmly; it was easy to see that he was genuinely delighted to see the boy. The professor readily agreed to Hector's request to share dinner with him, and he even thoughtfully arranged several delicacies that Hector had never seen during the previous term.
