By the time Hector, Ron, and the others walked up the long long gallery bridge leading to the Quidditch pitch, nearly half of Saturday morning had already passed—a fact well attested by the sun hanging high in the sky. The morning mist had mostly dissipated, leaving only a pitiful scrap floating above the lawn. The sprawling Quidditch pitch was empty. There were no hardworking team members as Hector and Ron had expected; instead, a first-year freshman holding a bulky gray camera stood in the stands—it was Colin. At the sight of the lad, an unnatural expression appeared on Ron's face. "Let's go, Hector, let's find somewhere else."
