Time passed extraordinarily quickly. It had been nearly a month since their last visit to Hagrid’s hut—ever since Hagrid had accidentally leaked what he called his "top-secret information," he hadn't invited Hector and the others over once. Hagrid was practically avoiding them, or so Harry put it. Still, Hector thought it was for the best not to let Harry visit Hagrid so often. Given Hagrid’s big mouth, it probably wouldn’t take long for Harry to worm the secret of the Sorcerer's Stone and the methods for getting past the defenses on the fourth-floor corridor out of him. Of course, Harry didn't have much spare time lately to worry about the thing Dumbledore was hiding at Hogwarts anyway. All the professors had simultaneously started piling on the homework. Add to that Wood, the training maniac, who dragged the Gryffindor Quidditch team out to the pitch for winter practice every couple of days. Even with Hermione's or Hector's essays to reference, copying them still took time.
