Chapter 36

"What do you say you saw?" Hector selectively shared his dream. Naturally, he recounted the basic plot, but as for the protagonist being Sirius, Hector kept that to himself—after all, he had no business knowing who Sirius was. He simply described the traits of the person in the dream as best as he could. Upon hearing the story, Professor Dumbledore's eyes widened, and before Hector could even finish, he stood straight up from his chair. A large part of the reason Hector chose to reveal this was to test Professor Dumbledore. Hector knew that Professor Dumbledore had always believed in prophecies, and he knew for a fact that Professor Dumbledore would be extraordinarily anxious about this—especially since, in Hector's dream, Voldemort had successfully resurrected and returned, something entirely outside his plans.
