Not long after, Hector and the others arrived at the door of Hagrid's hut. All the windows of the hut were tightly shuttered, with gray cloths draped over the inside panes. The entire dwelling was sealed up so tightly that not a single ray of sunlight could pierce through.
Harry stepped forward and knocked on the door. Hagrid's voice rang out from inside almost immediately:
"Coming, coming!"
Before long, the door was pulled open a crack. Hagrid peered out through the gap, and upon realizing it was Harry and his friends, he cautiously widened the opening just a bit.
