The aroma was so intense that even the most delicious braised pork his mother ever made couldn't compare to a tenth of it. Jia San carefully stepped out of the cave and peered around. Soon, his eyes locked onto a large tray sitting on the ground, holding two dishes and a bowl of soup. There was a roasted golden chicken bigger than his head, still steaming; a bowl of fish soup as white as milk; and a plate of stir-fried mushrooms—though he couldn't tell if they were mushrooms or something else. Jia San was stunned. He stared for a long time before looking up and asking, "Uncles and aunts, is all this for me to eat? Aren't you going to have any?"
