The moonlight was swallowed by thick, dark clouds. Amidst the towering mountains outside Qingyang City, Su Yao and her companions rode their Flying Swords, streaking across the sky like black meteors. A frigid wind howled past, cutting into their faces like blades, yet it did nothing to shake their determination to locate the lair of the Blood Fiend Sect. After much investigation, they had pinpointed a secluded valley where the core stronghold of the Blood Fiend Sect was rumored to be hidden. As they drew closer to the valley, Su Yao keenly perceived an odor weaving together rot and the metallic scent of blood. The fluctuations of Spiritual Power in the air became chaotic, as if countless eyes were watching them from the shadows. "Everyone, be careful. We’ve likely entered the Blood Fiend Sect’s perimeter," Su Yao whispered, her Divine Artifact growing slightly warm in her hand, emitting a warning. The group slowed their pace, proceeding with caution. The moment they stepped into the valley, a sharp whistle pierced the night sky. In an instant, countless eerie red lights ignited along the cliff walls on both sides of the valley. Dozens of Blood Fiend Sect disciples surged from hidden caves, clad in dark red robes with blood-colored skull pendants hanging at their waists. The weapons in their hands shimmered with a ghostly blue light, clearly coated in deadly poison.
