Perhaps it was because, in front of her lover, she could be herself without inhibition, rather than shifting into defensive mode to trade blows with others. She sat on the swing quite naturally, tilted her head, and asked, "Hoodlum Bro, why did you suddenly come to find me?" Her tone was light, tinged with a mix of surprise and curiosity. He looked at her as she swayed on the swing with a doting, affectionate gaze. "I missed you. But I didn't know if you missed me?" As he spoke, a trace of uncertain melancholy crept into his voice. He slowly knelt on one knee, resting his hands on the swing ropes, his eyes shining with a look of plea, as if waiting for Song Xinxin to give him the answer he longed for.
