Not long after, Feng Qingqing retrieved the sterilized silver needles from her room. She sat on a stool beside Wu Bixia and began to prepare them. While checking her pulse earlier, she had discovered that although there were not many black spots in Wu Bixia’s head, several of them were of a moderate size and incredibly stubborn. Unlike the others, which would occasionally shift or loosen, these spots seemed as if they had taken root in those very positions. Feng Qingqing guessed that these particular points were the cause of the chronic headaches that had plagued Wu Bixia for so many years. The spots were not large; given the precision of modern equipment, it would be impossible to detect such small locations with a CT scan or similar technology. This was why every hospital examination Wu Bixia had undergone had yielded no results. Because of her mastery of acupuncture, the steps for each treatment would automatically surface in Feng Qingqing’s mind. However, even if medical equipment were advanced enough to image these spots, it would still be useless without an effective method to remove them.
