Hou Yong nodded. Counting the stock they held before the scheme began, plus the shares from five other firms along the southeast coast and the recent steady inflation of Wang Group’s stock, their various accounts now held a total of 27 percent of the company’s equity. He was insistent on crashing the market to force the Wangs out entirely. The capital involved, however, was so massive that Hou Yong could not participate.
