On this winter weekend, warm sunlight bathed the earth, dispelling the lingering winter chill. As they usually did after finishing their studies, Chén Zhāoyáng and Lín Xiǎotáng decided to take a stroll along the beach to relax. In winter, the seaside lacked the bustle and noise of summer, offering instead a sense of peace and emptiness. Gentle waves lapped against the shore, making a pleasing sound, and the sea breeze carried the distinct salty tang of the ocean as it washed over them, refreshing their spirits. The two walked along the beach, their feet sinking slightly into the soft sand and leaving behind trails of footprints of varying depths. Chén Zhāoyáng let his gaze wander casually across the shoreline until, suddenly, he spotted a secondhand bookstall not far away. The stall was small, piled high with a variety of old books that, under the sunlight, looked somewhat worn yet brimming with stories. "Xiǎotáng, look at that secondhand bookstall over there. We might just find some treasures inside," Chén Zhāoyáng said, his eyes lighting up as he turned to Lín Xiǎotáng. Following the direction he pointed, she looked at the unassuming bookstall with mild doubt. "A secondhand bookstall? What kind of treasures could possibly be in there?"
