Chapter 1: The Beginning of Rebirth
The morning sun filtered through the gaps in the curtains, spilling onto Li Feng’s face. He slowly opened his eyes and found himself lying in an unfamiliar bedroom, decorated in a simple, modern style. A dull headache struck him; he rubbed his temples, trying to recall what had happened the previous night. However, his memories were as blank as if erased by a rubber.
"Where am I? How did I get here?" Li Feng muttered to himself as he sat up and looked around. Suddenly, his gaze caught a smartphone and a calendar on the nightstand. He reached out and picked up the calendar. The date on it left him stunned—April 1, 2035. How was this possible? Yesterday had been April Fool's Day in 2030; had he traveled five years into the future?
