Terrified, she clung to that arm like a little monkey, afraid of being thrown off. Just like that, she was hauled onto another ox-cart. Looking closely, she saw that the person who had saved her was none other than Zhao Laoliu. Before she had even settled properly, another carriage appeared by the side of the road. Zhao Laoliu pulled Du Chunzhi up, and they quickly got into it. The carriage had ordinary, unobtrusive decorations, but it had curtains all around, making it much more concealed than an ox-cart.
