Han Yuling frowned slightly. "Five taels would be sufficient. I cannot accept more." Li Sheng’s expression turned firm. "If you refuse, it means you look down upon me." At this, Lord Tan interjected, "Miss Han, please don’t stand on ceremony with him. He has always been a generous man."
Han Yuling hesitated for a moment before replying, "Then I shall follow your lead. However, there is a favor I would like to ask of you two." Li Sheng waved his hand again. "If you have a request, just say it. I will certainly help."
