Planning ability is what we commonly refer to as strategizing and coming up with ideas. Within this, strategy is divided into long-term and immediate strategy, as well as overall and partial strategy. While long-term strategy is far-sighted, it must be achieved step-by-step through immediate strategy; and while overall strategy coordinates everything, it cannot do without the meticulous detail of partial strategy. Both immediate and partial strategies must serve the overarching perspective of the long-term and the whole.
Execution ability is the key to turning plans into actual action. The success or failure of a task often depends on the strength of one's execution.
