Liu Ye'er, however, did not agree. "No," she pointed out sharply, "you are merely forcing the sprouts to grow by pulling on them. You are ruining him. Look at him now—cowardly, timid, and always deferential. How could someone like that ever become a hero?" Her words were like a blade, piercing Li Sheng’s heart.
