Only city hospitals carried that kind of powdered Western medicine. Yet, what Nan Yu was holding out was a small bottle of powder, clearly a Western drug. Such an item was not cheap in this day and age. Shen Yuzhi and his family had been sent down to the countryside, and they had very little money on them. He wasn't even certain if he could afford this bottle of medicine. Besides, how could this person afford Western medicine? And why would he be carrying it around with him?
