Zhou Yang did not rush over immediately. Instead, he leaned against a tree branch, took out his bullets, and reloaded the weapon to ensure it was in perfect working order. Only then did he look up to survey the scene. He was certain the tiger was inside the cave, but hunting it directly by entering the lair would be incredibly difficult. The cave was cramped; if Zhou Yang blindly charged in, he would be like a turtle in a jar, easily caught. The tree he had chosen was some distance from the tiger’s lair. After hanging his body off the branch at an angle, he released his grip, bent his knees slightly, and landed steadily on the ground.
