Although the leopard was currently licking its wounds to stem the flow of blood, its fierce gaze remained fixed on Zhou Yang. Zhou Yang gripped his hunting rifle once again, aiming it at the leopard's position while his left thumb gently hooked onto a loop on the dagger's sheath. This was a precaution: if the leopard launched a sudden attack and his shot missed, he could quickly engage the beast in close-quarters combat and ensure he wouldn't be at too severe of a disadvantage.
