In Theresia's memories, building a campfire was actually quite similar to roasting sweet potatoes when she was a little girl.
First, she had to dig a deep pit in the ground. Then, she lined the bottom of the pit with a thick layer of dry grass, leaves, and other flammable materials.
She walked over to the side, cut some weeds with a shovel, and gently tossed them into the dirt pit. Afterward, she picked up a few small sticks and placed them inside the pit to serve as a frame.
