"Ash, Gary is back. Aren't you going to go see him?" Delia asked, looking at Ash, who was busy eating breakfast. Ash was eating with great enthusiasm, but the moment he heard his mother say that Gary was back, he immediately dropped the bread in his hand, grabbed his jacket, and rushed out with Pikachu.
"Did Gary leave already? He just got back!" Ash never expected that even though he ran all the way, he still wouldn't catch Gary. Professor Oak informed him that Gary had left just before Ash arrived.
