Chapter 5

"Don't look!"
Lin Luoxuan’s face flushed red. She scrambled to pull her towel tight to cover her thighs, but with one hand trying to protect her top and the other her bottom, she lost her balance and began to topple over.
Fortunately, Ning Chen reacted in time, catching her and steadying her on her feet.
Without even stopping to thank him, Lin Luoxuan clutched the towel to her chest and darted into her room, locking the door behind her.
"What’s wrong?"
Hearing the commotion, Ning Qingxue and Jiang Li hurried out of their room.
"It’s nothing," Ning Chen said immediately, telling his sister and brother-in-law to go back to sleep.
He returned to the sofa, but he could no longer settle down. Unbidden, the image of what he had caught a fleeting glimpse of began to play over in his mind. Even though it had been partially hidden, he was certain: it was a patch of snow-white skin.
So, was Sister Luoxuan a White Tiger?
Ning Chen couldn't be sure; he hadn't seen enough to be certain, though he guessed it was highly likely. A sudden urge to use his ocular techniques to peer through the door crossed his mind, but he instantly banished the thought.
A gentleman might appreciate beauty, but he does not act with lewdness.
He wasn't a gentleman, nor did he aspire to be, but he lived by his own code. A man could be a rake, but not a degenerate. Otherwise, what difference was there between him and a creep?
Still, he was full of youthful vigor and found it hard to calm his racing mind. He stood up, left the living room, and stepped onto the balcony to catch the cool night air.
"Hmm?"
Suddenly, Ning Chen felt a prickle of intuition and looked toward the building across the way. It was another apartment complex, though it had been leased out and converted into a four-star hotel.
On the eighteenth floor, someone was watching him.
Ning Chen remained composed, returned to the living room, and drew the curtains.

Across the street at the Qingyu Hotel, Room 1803.
Ye Hongli and Ye Qinglong stood by the floor-to-ceiling window. Watching Ning Chen’s silhouette disappear behind the curtains, Ye Hongli’s eyes flickered with disappointment. "So he’s the one who used the Master's black card to spend tens of millions at SPACE Bar?"
"I had someone hack the surveillance footage near SPACE Bar. It’s him," Ye Qinglong confirmed.
"He doesn't look like anything special, aside from being a bit handsome. How could the Master's black card be in his hands?" Ye Hongli’s skin was as smooth as lard, her features possessed a natural allure, but at this moment, they held a trace of coldness.
"He couldn't be the Master's illegitimate son, could he?" Ye Qinglong sneered.
Ye Hongli rolled her eyes at him. "Strong limbs, simple mind—that’s exactly you."
Ye Qinglong didn't take offense. He chuckled, "Hongli, why don't I go grab the kid? You can use your hypnosis to interrogate him, and we’ll have all our answers."
Before Ye Hongli could answer, a voice echoed through the room: "No need for all that trouble. I’m already here."
The sound startled them both. They immediately shifted into a combat stance, spinning around with caution.
There, sitting on the sofa as if he had been there all along, was the young man. He was calmly pouring himself a glass of red wine, holding it and gently swirling it in the glass.
From start to finish, they hadn't sensed a thing! It was as if he had materialized out of thin air.
"It's you?!"
Ye Hongli and Ye Qinglong recognized him instantly. This was the man who held the Asura Temple black card and had spent millions at SPACE Bar.
Identifying Ning Chen sent a shiver down their spines. A minute ago, he had been in the building across the street—how had he appeared here so suddenly? And so silently? Cold sweat broke out across their backs. If Ning Chen had wanted to kill them, they would likely already be two corpses on the floor.
"I’ll give you one minute to explain yourselves."
Ning Chen’s expression was indifferent. He sat on the sofa, sipping his wine, but his gaze was soul-piercing, like a monarch passing judgment.
Ye Hongli’s expression tightened.
Ye Qinglong felt the pressure too, but he suddenly lunged forward. He moved with the speed of a tiger descending a mountain, throwing a punch that carried a hum of displaced air and a sonic boom. The force behind that blow was enough to crush a car. Ye Qinglong was like a human tank.
However, Ning Chen casually raised a hand and caught the fist. The explosive power vanished into his palm as if it had been swallowed by an endless sea.
Ye Qinglong’s pupils constricted.
Ning Chen let out a cold snort, and Ye Qinglong was struck as if by lightning, flung aside by an invisible force. Despite being a Martial Dao Grandmaster, he was like a weakling in front of Ning Chen, left critically injured in an instant.
Ye Hongli’s expression changed drastically. She didn't strike, but her beautiful eyes shifted as she attempted to use her mental arts to hypnotize Ning Chen.
"Small tricks. Do you dare to show off in front of an expert?"
Ning Chen snorted. Ye Hongli let out a muffled groan, her face visibly paling, the color draining even from her seductive red lips.
Ning Chen looked at her. "Since you enjoy playing with hypnosis so much, I’ll let you play to your heart's content."
As he spoke, mysterious runes flashed in his eyes, and a beam of divine light shot out, burying itself in her gaze.
Ye Hongli’s body trembled slightly. Her exquisite face lost its spark, and her expression went rigid.
"You look good, and your body is even more provocative."
"In that case, why don't you do a striptease?"
Ning Chen decided to teach her a small lesson.
Ye Hongli’s body began to sway. Despite her blank expression, her movements were incredibly fluid, showcasing her perfect curves with every gesture. As she danced, she began to peel off her clothes—an act that would drive any man on earth to madness.
Before long, she was left in nothing but her undergarments.
Ye Qinglong, nearby, was filled with fury, his rage nearly spilling from his eyes. He tried multiple times to force himself up and attack Ning Chen, but a vast, overwhelming pressure pinned him down like a mountain. He collapsed back to the floor, unable to rise no matter how hard he tried. In his grief and indignation, he could only turn his head away from the scene.
Ning Chen watched the dance with genuine interest. He took in her alluring figure—the flawless skin, the stunning curves, and her long, jade-like legs. He had to admit, this woman’s body was truly top-tier.
This reminded him of Lin Luoxuan—the glimpses he’d caught of her in her lingerie at the Ning Family Old Mansion, and that fleeting, shocking look of her stepping out of the bath at Yijia Apartment. He hadn't expected to see the hot bodies of two such beautiful women in such a short time.
Just as Ye Hongli, still dancing, reached to undo her bra, Ning Chen finally snapped his fingers. "That’s enough. Stop."
At the sound of the snap, Ye Hongli snapped out of it, her eyes clearing.
She felt a chill wash over her. After two seconds of confusion, she realized in horror that she was standing there in nothing but her lingerie.
