Personally, she felt that the kind of dramatic, cliché-ridden situations found in stories were unlikely to happen to her. For one thing, she was genuinely young; she hadn't even reached adulthood by the time she started university. Back then, still physically underdeveloped and just a "little bean" of a girl, her classmates had all treated her like a child. Secondly, she had spent those four years occupied with her studies and immersed in the arts. Aside from her freshman year when she lived on campus, she had returned home every day thereafter, so she rarely had the time to interact much with the opposite sex.
