Regarding Wen Rou's styling in the series, the stylists initially had preliminary discussions and decided on black hair.
However, the director felt that the character's designated age—a college student about to graduate, though Wen Rou had already graduated and was only twenty years old—would look a bit too obedient and well-behaved with black hair, which didn't quite fit her youthful image.
