Thump, thump, thump. The silence of the early morning was broken by a knock at the door. Lu Muci, having been gnawed upon until he fell into a dormant state, opened his eyes. He glanced down at the white ball of fur pressed against his chest; the tiny head was nestled in its own tail, fast asleep, appearing perfectly content and full. The "food," however, was in a foul mood and wanted to kill the fox. Only when he felt the power of the Anomaly returning to his body did he let go of his murderous intent. He picked up the small fox by the scruff of its neck and got out of bed. Thump, thump, thump. The waiter delivering breakfast at the door was about to knock again when the door opened, revealing a man with a cold, sinister expression. In his hand, he held a white fox—the very leader of their Anomaly group. *Huh? Why is the boss in a Survivor’s room? And why is she in her original form?* *Besides, this Survivor’s aura is terrifying. What is this intense pressure I’m feeling?* "Cleaning up trash. Take it." He tossed the white fox over. The waiter caught her instantly: *The boss is too fragile to be thrown like that! She’s so soft and cute, it’s no wonder the Anomalies adore her!* The door slammed shut. "Um, guest, your breakfast..." Lu Muci wasn't hungry; why would he take breakfast?
