"Put me down, I want to get down." An Ruoxue flailed her arms, pitter-pattering and slapping wildly against Rong Che's back.
"I want a drink," she mumbled, struggling restlessly after being hauled out of the bar by Rong Che.
"Shut up."
Rong Che roared, then dealt a sharp smack to An Ruoxue’s backside.
"Wuu-wuu... Zhouzhou, you, you hit me." In her drunken haze, An Ruoxue still mistook Rong Che for her best friend, Fang Zhou.
"Wuu-wuu..." She pressed her face into Rong Che’s shoulder, sobbing as mournfully as a kitten. Her warm tears soaked through his shirt.
Hearing the woman’s pitiful whimpering, Rong Che’s heart inexplicably softened for a brief second.
"Ah-woo..."
"Damn woman, are you part dog?" She had bitten him again—the second time today. She was really getting bold.
"Bang, bang, bang!" Rong Che slapped her backside a few more times before shoving her into the car.
"Wuu-wuu..."
Dizzy and disoriented from being tossed around, An Ruoxue struggled to sit up, only to be forced back into the passenger seat by Rong Che’s powerful hands as he buckled her seatbelt.
"Mm... ah, let me go."
Infuriated, Rong Che grabbed her fair, delicate chin. "Damn woman, stop causing trouble."
"Wuu-wuu..." Faced with his harsh reprimand, An Ruoxue shrank back, sniffing with her reddened nose.
"Wuu..."
"Stop crying. Hold it in."
Um... Rong Che looked so ferocious and terrifying when he scolded her that An Ruoxue was instantly cowed. She stared at him with wide, dazed eyes, pressing her lips tightly together, too afraid to cry anymore.
Rong Che cast a displeased glare at her with his icy black eyes, slammed the door shut, and strode around the front of the car with his long legs to get into the driver’s seat.
The blue Lamborghini sped off like a streak of blue lightning down the dark road.
"Sniff."
After a few minutes of quiet, the alcohol remaining in An Ruoxue’s system rapidly surged, invading her cerebral cortex. She turned her head, her charming, dazed eyes fixed on Rong Che as he drove.
"Zhouzhou, you look so handsome today."
"Uh, um, you..." An Ruoxue blinked her hazy eyes. "You look like, like... Rong Che today."
"Hahaha, Rong Che."
"Rong Che." An Ruoxue giggled, calling his name, her gaze softening.
"Mwah..." Suddenly, An Ruoxue leaned forward and pressed her red lips to Rong Che’s cheek.
"An Ruoxue, you woman..." Rong Che glanced sideways, his sharp eyes glaring at her.
The current An Ruoxue was passionate and fiery, taking the initiative to tease him, constantly testing the limits of his self-control as a man.
"Don't glare at me. I'll sing you a song, heh heh." As she said this, she unbuckled her seatbelt and stood up from her seat.
"An Ruoxue, you lunatic! Sit down!"
Stunned by her madness, Rong Che instinctively slowed the car down.
"Two little honeybees, flying in the flowers, flying..."
"Fly, fly..."
An Ruoxue stood gripping the car window, the night wind blowing in and wildly tousling her dark, silken hair. In the darkness, she looked like a beautiful fire sprite, her red dress standing out vividly against the black night.
"Little bees, fly, fly, hahahaha!"
Rong Che looked up, his icy black eyes fixed on the innocent, radiant smile on An Ruoxue’s face. For a second, he was mesmerized, unable to pull his gaze away.
"Damn woman, do you want to die? Sit down!" Regaining his senses, Rong Che reached out and pulled her hard. Losing her balance, An Ruoxue tumbled right into his lap.
"Let... me go. Let go."
Unwilling to be restrained, An Ruoxue twisted and struggled incessantly, her only goal to escape his grip.
"Damn it, don't move."
Her unconscious thrashing was a lethal temptation for a normal man like Rong Che. It was like a naughty kitten’s claws, scratching at his heart. He desperately wanted to catch those mischievous little claws and teach her a lesson, but he couldn't quite pin them down. It was agonizing.
"Mm, um, I’m not... moving."
An Ruoxue met his cold gaze with dazed eyes, her flushed face making her appear even more womanly. Though she claimed not to be moving, her body continued to writhe uncontrollably.
"You..."
"I told you I wasn't moving. Why don't you believe me? Why?"
An Ruoxue reached out and pinched Rong Che’s nose, pouting with dissatisfaction.
"Damn it."
"An Ruoxue, you brought this on yourself." Even with his extraordinary self-control, Rong Che couldn't withstand her torment any longer.
He slammed his right foot on the brake and wrapped his powerful arm around her slender waist. His hand didn't hesitate to slip beneath the hem of her red dress.
"Mm, ah..."
An Ruoxue’s skin was naturally fair, but now, flushed from the alcohol, it turned a delicate shade of pink, radiating a seductive, pure scent.
Rong Che’s Adam’s apple bobbed involuntarily. The faint, ethereal fragrance of her body, mixed with the rich aroma of red wine, filled his nostrils, inciting his most primal instincts.
"Damn woman, you started this fire, so don't blame me."
Rong Che tightened his arm around her waist, pulling her soft body closer. He buried his chin into the crook of her neck, greedily inhaling her unique scent.
"Mm, um... you’re, holding me, so tight, mm..."
An Ruoxue’s red lips parted, her weak, delicate voice reaching his ears.
"An Ruoxue, is this the real you?"
Rong Che’s long, fair fingers lifted her chin, his dark eyes scrutinizing her. At this moment, the woman before him was incredibly beautiful and devastatingly tempting.
"An Ruoxue."
He whispered her name in a low, deep voice, and a second later, Rong Che pressed his thin, cold lips onto her cherry-red ones, sealing them in a fierce kiss.
The night was deep and silent, and the air was thick with the scent of intrigue, drifting on the wind and bewitching the hearts of men and women alike.
