In the Front Courtyard, Yan Bugui was watering his flowers—which in reality meant drip-irrigating his few meager scallions—when his hand slipped and he soaked his own shoe. Pushing up his spectacles, he stared dumbfounded as Su Changshun executed a slick, gliding stop, bringing his bicycle to a steady halt right in the courtyard. "Ch... Changshun? Is... is this—?" Ecstatic inside, he plastered on an exceptionally sunny smile tinged with a "no big deal" casualness. Pushing the bike forward, he answered offhandedly, "That's right, Teacher Yan. Morning! Just picked it up. A Flying Pigeon twenty-eight, all thanks to Zhuzi!"
