However, having no energy to spare for such matters, he merely offered a couple of vague grunts to brush him off. He then lifted his foot, intending to beat a hasty retreat from this den of trouble.
Yet, Yan Bugui’s bony, withered hand gripped Xu Shu’s arm like a pair of iron pliers, showing no intention of letting go. Xu Shu’s impatience grew; he did not want to waste any more time here, so he spoke directly.
