Xushu’s refusal of the cooperation request from the black market in the Chaoyang district was by no means due to a shortage of supplies from his dimension. By now, the area within his dimension had expanded to a radius of ten kilometers, a truly substantial scale. The goods produced daily were more than enough to supply not just two measly black markets, but even if he were to take on the responsibility of feeding every worker at the Rolling Mill, it would be a mere trifle for Xushu, hardly worth mentioning. However, Xushu had his own considerations. Always cautious in his dealings, he understood the truth in the saying, "The tallest tree in the forest is the first to be caught by the wind." If he were to flood the market with such a massive quantity of supplies all at once, it would inevitably attract the attention of those with ulterior motives. Xushu knew that if these people were determined to investigate, he would be unable to hide his tracks. This, in turn, could easily invite a host of unnecessary troubles and even jeopardize his own safety. Xushu longed for steady progress, growing stronger step by step. He planned to first stabilize his partnership with the first black market, and only after everything was on the right track and he had accumulated sufficient experience and resources would he explore the opportunity for a second partnership. He intended to move forward one footprint at a time, solidifying his path.
