The next morning, Lin Shanyue rose early once again to prepare a generous assortment of pastries. A portion was designated for delivery to Huayue Pavilion, while the rest were intended for her street stall at the Imperial College. Lin Shanyue had already inquired about the layout of the Imperial College. After leaving Huayue Pavilion, she and Chunlan made their way there. It had to be said, the mule-drawn cart she had invested in previously was proving to be incredibly useful, making everything much more convenient. The snack street in front of the Imperial College was indeed bustling. It was open to mule and horse-drawn carts, with enough room for two carriages to pass each other comfortably. The stall spaces here were quite flexible—similar to the East Market—allowing one to secure temporary usage rights simply by paying a stall fee and market tax. Chunlan, possessing a sharp eye, selected a spot located right by the side gate of the Imperial College.
