The four appetizers Lin Shanyue was responsible for were: sour and spicy crystal noodles, mashed eggplant with green chili, pork with minced garlic, and chicken feet in chili oil.
Many of these were familiar faces, at least to Xie Wuling, Elder Pei, and Lord Pei. Most of the guests present today, however, had likely never tasted them before.
