Since today was a genuine Monday, there was a flag-raising ceremony. The head teacher had given advance notice that the top ten students in the grade would go on stage to receive awards, so the whole event was not going to be short.
After class, a whole crowd of students followed the sports committee member to the flag-raising plaza. Following the solemn flag-raising ceremony, the presiding teacher launched into a lengthy speech.
