Sunday happened to be one of those rare days when nobody in the Fu Family had to work. On Saturday night, Mom Fu asked Fu Ying what she wanted to eat. Fu Ying blurted out, "Dumplings!" So on Sunday morning, Dad Fu went out to buy vegetables and meat, brought them home to mince the filling, and Mom Fu prepared the seasonings to mix it all together.
Perhaps for anyone who has left home, memories of family are forever intertwined with activities shared together: wrapping dumplings as a family, gathering around a hot pot, going out to play.
