Chapter 8

Six years and another six years passed.
At this moment, Natsu was already twelve years old, truly deserving of the title of Special Grade Sorcerer, and even the pinnacle among Special Grade Sorcerers.
The only regret was that she had not yet fully grasped her own Innate Technique. Although she had deeply excavated and developed numerous abilities, she still had not reached the point where she could use a Domain.
However, this did not mean she was entirely unable to wield the power of a Domain.
Due to a mutation, Natsu's Six Eyes inherently carried the power of the Limitless Technique. Moreover, because it did not exist as her own Innate Technique, she was naturally still able to use the power of the Limitless Domain to this day.
It was merely somewhat different from the Domain awakened by Gojo Satoru in the original timeline.
Domain Expansion: Demonic Spirits and Phantoms.
Resembling a gloomy, ghostly realm, it made one feel as though they had plunged into an abyss, where endless wicked ghosts lured souls into damnation.
Perhaps it was because Natsu, as a transmigrator, had been a genuine homebody before her transmigration and had naturally dabbled in all sorts of novels, including certain horror novels and rule-based strange tales.
When she became capable of expanding a Domain, she had initially wondered if her Domain would turn out like Gojo Satoru's. At the crucial moment, however, her thoughts had drifted wildly into whimsical daydreams. Consequently, her Domain—which originally might well have awakened as Unlimited Void—was altered by this casual distraction into its current appearance. To this day, Natsu herself had yet to fully fathom all the capabilities of her Domain.
Such a leisurely and carefree life was wonderfully comfortable and pleasant.
Yet beautiful lives are always fleeting.
This warmth was hard-earned and yet so transient.
Although Natsu and Sukuna could be considered once-in-a-millennium sorcery prodigies and had exorcised quite a few high-level Cursed Spirits, they were still rather inexperienced compared to seasoned, shrewd, and veteran sorcerers.
Over these past six years, however, a trivial and insignificant matter had now become a fatal fuse.
Something Natsu and Sukuna had never paid attention to had been etched deeply into the heart of another person, branded into his very bones with bitterness and overflowing resentment.
From that moment on, a seed of hatred was deeply buried at the bottom of his heart.
Driven by endless resentment and negative emotions bordering on madness, this seed grew wildly, sprouting until it finally grew into a towering tree.
He had already gone completely mad.
Scarcely any sorcerers possessed a truly normal state of mind.
Even so, things usually did not go this far.
Yet this person had long since forgotten his original intention and everything else, leaving only a crazed obsession with hatred and revenge.
Human potential is immense.
Or rather, formidable power is always forced out of people.
No matter how foolish or slow-witted someone might be, if they focus single-mindedly on a single direction for a long time, they will always obtain what they want and reap rewards.
A pure and untainted heart is rare and exceptionally precious.
And a spirit dedicated entirely to a single direction will inevitably achieve extraordinary accomplishments in that field.
Naturally, this refers to positive outcomes.
At the same time, however, this individual possessed the talent of an utterly ordinary sorcerer.
Perhaps he was not particularly strong, but driven by this crazed emotional state and his desperate, reckless madness—
Six years of accumulation, combined with the extreme Binding Vow he had imposed upon himself, made the impossible possible.
Thus, the harvest was about to be reaped.
Thus, while Natsu and Sukuna remained completely unaware, a sudden crisis was about to arrive.
Thus, this ordinary and warm life was about to be shattered.
The impending lethal danger changed many things, fundamentally altering the mindset of Natsu and Sukuna, who had until then remained somewhat naive and kind-hearted.
This held true both for Natsu, who would later be reborn, and for Sukuna, who would later transform into the King of Curses, known as Amenosahabune.
