Rukawa was in Ohio to shoot a print advertisement for a campaign by the shores of Lake Erie. This was his first time shooting an ad in collaboration with a female celebrity.
When Rukawa arrived, the actress Ilyas was already getting her makeup done in the studio. They were sharing the same dressing room.
The moment Ilyas saw Rukawa walk in, she immediately broke into a smile, raised a hand in greeting, and called out, ignoring her makeup artist: "Hi, Ruka, long time no see."
