Inside Room 302, aside from the photo wall that had become Huo Que's outlet for venting his rage, the place was filled with the lingering presence of the female occupant. There were the withered potted plants on the balcony, the cosmetics left in front of the vanity mirror, the matching throw pillows on the sofa, and the toothbrushes and rinse cups in the bathroom.
It seemed that while Huo Que's heart was filled with bitter resentment, he still harbored illusions about that woman.
He was trying to wait for her to come to her senses, or for her to return and pack up her belongings. Even if they were parting ways, he wanted a final resolution.
