Chen Muye instinctively drew his blade and slashed with the back of it. Chimei instantly dissolved into a dense swarm of mosquitoes, only reforming after the flat of the blade passed right through him.
"You scared the life out of me," Chimei said, looking thoroughly aggrieved as he spread his hands. "Why so grumpy, Captain Chen—?"
