Harry, Hermione, Ron, Cedric, and Sirius were the first to set off for Hogsmeade. Tonks and other members of the Order of the Phoenix, along with French Aurors, appeared near the Black Mansion to draw the Death Eaters' attention.
Dressed in black robes and wearing white masks, the group walked among the Death Eaters. Ron quietly muttered to Hermione, "Does this really work? We might as well have used Harry's Invisibility Cloak." Hermione looked away at a Death Eater who cast a contemptuous gaze in their direction. It seemed no one wanted to get close to them, which eased her uneasy heart a little. "I observed this at Slytherin Mansion: these Death Eaters wearing white masks actually belong only to Cyrus's subordinates—they are all werewolves. As for the other Death Eaters, they hold them in contempt yet dare not interfere too much."
"Then what on earth is the last thing Headmaster Dumbledore left behind? Why didn't we know about it?" Seeing that the surrounding Death Eaters had thinned out, Harry voiced the question in his heart, but he received no answer from Hermione.
