Rita Skeeter returned home, unlocked her front door, and flipped on the light switch only to find a young woman sitting on her sofa, flipping through a book. Rita immediately whipped out her wand and snapped, "Who are you! What are you doing in my house?" The girl had long black hair cascading over her shoulders, wearing a tailored black blouse and women's dress trousers with a short wizard's robe draped over her shoulders. She closed the book she was reading and looked up at Rita. With her exquisite features, an aura of icy indifference, and piercing azure eyes, she appraised the tense woman before her. Rita wore a bizarre, elaborately coiffed head of large curls, jeweled glasses, and clutched her wand and green crocodile-skin handbag in thick, pudgy fingers with red-polished nails. "'The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore'—a fascinating work, Miss Rita Skeeter. Or perhaps I should call you Miss Beetle."
