Chapter 32

3,236 words16 minutes read

Helena had never revealed her true identity to outsiders. She was the House ghost of Ravenclaw Tower, known to everyone else as the Grey Lady. Ordinarily cold and aloof, she rarely interacted with the young wizards and seldom appeared before others. When Cyrus arrived at Ravenclaw Tower, she spotted Helena, who was tall and dressed in an exquisite gown. Helena saw Cyrus as well and seemed reluctant to cross paths. The two had never met before. Perhaps Helena had always been avoiding the heir of Slytherin; back when she was still a schoolgirl, she had been deceived by the young Tom Riddle into revealing the hiding place of Ravenclaw's Diadem. Once Riddle obtained the information he wanted, he discarded his gentle and elegant facade. Feeling deeply betrayed, Helena harbored a profound aversion to the heir of Slytherin. Helena turned to leave, but Cyrus's words stopped her in her tracks. "Miss Helena Ravenclaw, I bring you greetings from my father, Salazar Slytherin."
