When Cyrus woke up again, she found herself lying in a bed. Snape was sitting in a chair with his eyes closed in rest, his breathing steady and his chest rising and falling slightly, as if he had fallen asleep.
She looked down at the bed beneath her. It was the one the gentleman had transfigured using Transfiguration last night, and she was still in last night's study. It suddenly occurred to her that the gentleman did not know where her bedroom was, so he must have transfigured a temporary bed.
She got up, climbed out of bed, and walked over to Snape. Why would the gentleman come here? Wasn't he angry anymore, or was there something wrong with the research she had brought him last night?
