Nothing happened in the days following Sirius breaking into Hogwarts; Dementors were still lingering around the outer edges of the castle, but they dared not come any closer. It seemed Gellert had personally pressured the Ministry of Magic, and Fudge had even visited Cyrus in person to express his apologies.
Cyrus made her way to Hagrid’s hut. "Hagrid, are you in?" Hearing heavy footsteps approaching from inside, she waited as Hagrid opened the door to welcome her. Cyrus did not step inside, opting instead to ask, "Have you seen Ron's pet, Scabbers? He's very worried, and I've been helping him look."
Hagrid chuckled. "Oh, it's fine now. I just gave him back to Ron; they only just left."
