The Sea King was no fool. Regardless of whether the outbreak of the beast tide was a human conspiracy or the result of their infighting spilling over into the beast tide, it was undeniably her subordinates who suffered the real losses, and there was no telling how many sea beasts had been secretly controlled. If she were truly to throw the Thirteen Continents into chaos and provoke the human race, it would no longer be a restrained skirmish between both sides, but a genuine fight to the death. While the sea beasts might not necessarily come out on the losing end, what about the future?
One had to understand that although sea beasts reproduced rapidly, those truly capable of growing to Rank Seven or Rank Eight were one in ten thousand. Most importantly, it took time. The human race, however, was different. Even in their weakness, they could utilize talismans, Immortal Artifacts, and array disks for combat, supplemented at any time by immortal elixirs to replenish their losses.
The Sea King was certain that before low-rank sea beasts could grow into high-rank ones, the vast majority would simply become cultivation resources for the human race. What she needed to consider was the future of the sea beasts, rather than venting a momentary surge of anger and ending up in mutual destruction.
