Chapter 47

During the transition from unconsciousness back to awareness, the mind often exists in a hazy state. As consciousness gradually returns, thoughts remain chaotic and unstable. During this time, a person may feel confused and disoriented, trying to open their eyes, though their vision has not fully recovered and they can only perceive blurred images. Feelings of fear, anxiety, and unease may arise within, as they are uncertain of their whereabouts or what has transpired. They might attempt to move their body, but due to lingering muscular weakness, movement proves exceedingly difficult. Their thoughts may become fragmented and chaotic, impossible to assemble accurately. Dizziness and nausea may set in, accompanied by a numbness or tingling sensation throughout the body. Ali was presently in just such a state; its mind had not yet fully recovered (its brain was currently rebooting—please do not shut down).
