Black clouds pressed down from above, turning the sky unusually dim and making everything feel heavy. It was as if the entire world had been swallowed by darkness, casting a gloomy shadow over everyone's spirits. The dark clouds in the sky blocked the sunlight like a solid wall, and even the wind came to a complete halt. Every now and then, a roll of thunder rumbled through the air, oppressive and mighty. A damp mist hung thick in the air, creating a deeply uncomfortable sensation. Deprived of a single ray of sunlight, the landscape turned unfamiliar and terrifying. It was an unusual, unsettling atmosphere, as though something terrible could happen at any second—night had fallen. Immediately following, a Giant Dragon descended from the sky. Its uncanny eyes swept across the participating contestants, and it puffed two columns of air from its nostrils, sending a sudden chill through everyone present. The Giant Dragon's gaze was bone-chilling. Suppressed by its formidable bloodline, the mounts beneath them froze in place, not daring to make a rash move. Shun Qian's Flame Dragon was affected most noticeably; the blazing scales all over its body flickered out—no, that wasn't quite accurate. To be precise, there was still a tiny bit left... (puff) and that last little bit went out too, turning into a wisp of black smoke. It had completely stalled.
