A rare tremor laced her voice; Aglaea felt as though her emotional fluctuations over the past two days exceeded those of the preceding several centuries.
Though she had considered herself sufficiently respectful of these outsiders—after all, the demigods of Amphoreus were not merely approximations of divinity, but rather walked the earth as half-god, half-human, possessing a combat prowess that did not truly lag behind true gods—she had never expected that as a goddess herself, she would yesterday witness Mr. Shen Wan effortlessly defeat an avatar of Nicadori, a feat that he could just as easily accomplish against her.
Last night, she had received further staggering information from Teacher Tibo. This morning, she had been greeted by the uninvited arrival of Screwllum, a being seemingly on par with Mr. Shen Wan.
