Chapter 25

One thought gives birth to Yin and Yang; Yin and Yang form the two breaths; The two breaths begin the three existences; The three existences endow the myriad forms; The myriad forms become Heaven and Earth; Heaven and Earth bring forth the universe; The universe connects to the Great Oneness; The Great Oneness derives Yin and Yang. Beneath the moonlight, faint flickers of fire danced through the pitch-black mountain forest like brilliant, scattered stars. Soon, people arrived at the scene. Seeing the mottled bloodstains on the ground and the mountain ghost impaled upon the jagged tree stump, everyone turned pale with shock. A small number among them wore expressions of confusion. It was clear that a struggle had taken place here; the chaotic scene and the surrounding broken trees bore silent witness to this. Yet, faced with such a sight, they could only accept it while nursing their questions.
