It belonged to one of the sects of the Thousand Islands Alliance. This Thousand Islands Alliance was actually a loose coalition. Within this alliance, there were Taoist cultivation sects, Buddhist cultivation sects, and Demonic cultivation sects as well. There was no such concept as differing fundamental paths making them mortal enemies, and even less of the notion that the righteous and demonic factions could not coexist.
